Kool-Aid Man Swaps Names with Football Player Ga'Quincy 'Kool-Aid' McKinstry

After Alabama's freshman defensive back Ga’Quincy McKinstry legally changed his name across all football rosters to ‘Kool-Aid’ McKinstry, Kool-Aid Man wanted to give McKinstry something special as he ramps up for the football season. To return the favour, today Kool-Aid Man changed his name to 'Ga'Quincy McKinstry.'

For the next 24 hours, both the Kool-Aid Man and Ga’Quincy will swap names on Twitter and Instagram, with Kool-Aid Man being known as Ga’Quincy McKinstry and Kool-Aid McKinstry being known as Kool-Aid Man.

Kool-Aid Man is known to krash cultural moments. Recently he became one of the first brand mascots to crash Cameo and Clubhouse to give people an 'OH YEAH' moment. Swapping names with Kool-Aid McKinstry is his latest endeavour to show the power of 'OH YEAH.'

The effort was a collaboration between Kool-Aid’s creative agency partner VaynerMedia and full-service athlete representation agency VaynerSports.
