Pale Waves Captures the Yearning of Lost Love for Video 'Change'
Pale Waves success since their first album ‘My Mind Makes Noises’ in 2018 has lead to a metamorphosis of sorts. With ‘Change’ they present a fresh vision of their 90s inspired indie-pop, ever catchy and always hypnotic.
A story of heartache and reinvention - and a video to reflect that - ‘Change’ captures both the yearning of a love lost, and the sense of the relentless change that we can always rely on for new possibilities. Between butterflies and rain, director Johnny Goddard (one third of collective Youth Hymns) delivers a dreamy, textural performance video capturing the spirit of the 90s.
The video - the second from new Dirty Films division Monster - was released on Tuesday 10th November after Radio 1’s ‘Hottest Record in the World’ premiere.
