Sonos Taps VCCP NY and MUH-TAY-ZIK / HOF-FER for Global Creative and Strategic Duties
The team will pave the way for the brand’s future product and service offerings
VCCP New York and MUH-TAY-ZIK / HOF-FER today announce Sonos, the leading sound experience company, has awarded them a global creative agency assignment. The two agencies, both part of the global VCCP network, participated in a competitive pitch to land strategic and creative work for the brand.
Beginning immediately, the team will lead Sonos’ global brand strategy evolution paving the way for the brand’s future product and service offerings. Sonos is known for inventing wireless audio in the home, giving people access to all the content they love inside and outside of the home and enabling them to control it however they choose.
“Sonos is an incredible brand already, but it's future potential is even more exciting,” said Jonny Shaw, chief strategy officer at VCCP NY. “To get to help the team build to that future is amazing.”
“Coming off a year of remarkable growth, Sonos needs a partner who understands our brand and our ambition, and has the strategic and creative chops to help us push harder,” added Pete Pedersen, vice president of marketing at Sonos. “In the years ahead we’ll faithfully serve our mission to inspire listeners everywhere while inviting millions of new people to experience the Sonos brand.”
Joel Kaplan, executive creative director and partner at MUH-TAY-ZIK / HOF-FER, concluded: “We didn’t approach the relationship as listeners, we approached it as believers. And there is nothing more exciting than creating work with an amazing brand you truly believe in.”
