Ubisoft and BBDO Paris Prove You Should Never Trust a Rabbit to Have Your Back
Would you be willing to team up with a rabbit?
That is the question Ubisoft and BBDO Paris are asking in their new campaign for the latest instalment of the Raving Rabbids franchise.
In the new Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Mario teams up with the notorious Rabbids to save the Mushroom Kingdom. This unlikely pairing inspired the agency to expand the concept into other video game genre’s that gamers know and love, in order to show how crazy and unpredictable this new game will be.
In “Cover Me”, “All With Me” and “Com’on! Drive!”, we follow a modern marine into battle, an epic ancient warlord and a gang of bank robbers making a getaway. Each of these video game tropes must rely on adorable (but untrustworthy) Rabbits for victory. Will they be victorious?
The rich, cinematic worlds in the spots were directed by Olivier Abbou, (Madame Hollywood, Territories, Yes we Can, Maroni…) is his first foray into advertising.
