Work of the Week

Work of the Week: 10/07/20

The world is far from returning to 'normal' but this week's best work gives the impression that there are still plenty of good things about life

Work of the Week: 10/07/20

In contrast to most of 2020 so far, this week’s Work of the Week collection is almost guaranteed to leave you feeling more positive about the world. We’re not naively saying that the world is returning to normal and humanity’s worries are behind us, but the work here gives the impression that there are still plenty of good things about life. We can have a beer in the sun, eat delicious fried chicken, indulge in a bit of gaming. Or if this world is still getting us down, there are thousands of others we can escape to, whether through turning on the TV or listening to an audiobook. The world has many ills that we know need fixing, but life can still be good. It’s Friday, so try and focus on the silver linings. We can fix the problems on Monday.
