160over90 China Appoints John Steere as SVP and Managing Director
We are pleased to announce the appointment of John Steere as SVP and managing director of 160over90’s China office. 160over90 is an 800-person global creative agency within Endeavour that recently rebranded from Endeavour Global Marketing to 160over90.
In the newly created role, John is responsible for further developing 160over90’s presence in Asia, answering a growing demand for the agency’s marketing expertise, including advertising, experiential, PR and sponsorships. John will be based in Shanghai and lead a team of ten across Shanghai and Beijing.
In the last year, 160over90’s team in Asia has worked with clients including HSBC, Marriott International, Visa, Caterpillar and Luzhou Laojiao.
John joins 160over90 from Imagination China, where he oversaw the experience agency’s push into client diversification and localisation. Prior to that, he was president of MyMM, (Lane Crawford’s eCommerce marketplace platform), where he led a nearly 200-person staff in Hong Kong and Shanghai. John’s 30+ years of leadership and marketing experience span PR, digital, shopper marketing, activation and eCommerce and top global brands and agencies including AT&T, Visa, Gartner, McCann, Saatchi and DDB.
