360Learning Launches the First Reality B2B TV with Real-Life Employee Challenges
360Learning has launched Learning Audrey, following the success of last year’s award-winning show Onboarding Joei. The company takes B2B filmmaking to the next level with a 5-episode, unscripted reality TV series about workplace and career switch challenges.
Learning Audrey follows 360Learning’s own employee Audrey Jarre as she moves from a role in the Customer Success team looking after four people, to a role in L&D where she looks after 200 people. To pursue her career aspiration, she has to relearn everything - starting from zero to becoming a learning manager. It takes a growth mindset - does she have it? The series focuses on the challenges and pressures of Audrey pursuing her dreams firsthand. They are all too relatable and watching Audrey navigate her big career change is a real learning experience.
By offering an insight into what changing jobs is really like through the lens of an employee going through the experience, 360Learning helps employers and employees better understand common workplace situations. 360Learning believes that showing workplace reality is a big factor in growing better L&D and HR teams.
As employers dread ‘The Great Resignation’, understanding how employees feel in the face of transition has become vital for business functions responsible for employee satisfaction. The Learning Audrey series gives an insight into knowing your employees, key to creating a better work culture and keeping employees happy.
About the series, Audrey said: “I agreed to do the show as it gave a different perspective on what it means to be in an L&D function. The time of shooting Learning Audrey also provided an opportunity for constant self-reflection upon starting the role. The experience was stressful at times but overall a great opportunity to work on being vulnerable in a hybrid environment. Maybe water-cooler chitchats should be replaced by a more honest take on what moves us /motivates us?
Both employees and employers may learn from seeing me work through challenging moments we’ve all encountered. Anyone who is scared to take on a career change can benefit from watching it. If you’re welcoming a new person to your team, it may also be interesting to step into their shoes - developing empathy for your colleagues has become a vital skill in creating better work environments.”
Joei Chan, director of brand and content at 360Learning said: “After the unexpected success of Onboarding Joei, I realised there’s a strong demand for honest and authentic sharing of the realities of work. Learning Audrey is a story that a lot of people might be going through right now; a story of change and dreams. With The Great Resignation, lots of people are making career changes and we wanted to highlight all the ups and downs of going through such a change. The goal of our unscripted docu-series is to show the world what employees really go through with none of the corporate sugarcoating. Through our reality TV series, we show the reality of work.”
