American Eagle Launches Brand-First NFT Collection, Making NFTS Accessible to Gen Z

Brand partners with VaynerNFT and Bitski on collection including 12 unique designs crafted by up-and-coming creators

American Eagle Launches Brand-First NFT Collection, Making NFTS Accessible to Gen Z

As brands continue to determine their own unique cultural positioning in the NFT metaverse, leading global fashion brand American Eagle has today announced its very first NFT collection, launching 120 NFTs available to mint over a three-day period for just $1 each.

Partnering with recently launched VaynerNFT and Bitski, AE’s genesis NFT collection includes 12 unique designs crafted by up-and-coming creators Liam Eisenberg and Amy Perez, exploring the themes of good vibes, uniqueness, and individuality.

With the ambition to support first-time purchasers in collecting their first NFT, AE is making NFTs accessible to Gen Z with the introduction of a unique, free-to-mint NFT that also provides access to a corresponding, real-life physical collectible.

Collectors will be able to redeem their NFT for a tangible, real-life patch of the purchased NFT that can be sewn onto their favorite pair of AE Jeans, along with a gift card. The collection of the first round of release is available today (Wednesday, November 3rd).

The rollout is set over 3 days and will be on a first come, first served basis, with only 40 NFTs available each day. As brands continue to navigate the NFT landscape, AE’s launch showcases the innovative ways brands can use their unique cultural positioning to ensure their NFTs generate cultural impact.
