Dentsu Named Cannes Lions Regional Agency of the Decade – Asia
Dentsu Inc. has been awarded Regional Agency of the Decade – Asia at Cannes Lions 2020. The award was announced last week in the Lions Creativity Report of the Decade on Lions Live, the digital experience from Cannes Lions
The Lions Creativity Report of the Decade recognises and celebrates winners based on the number of Lions won over the past 10 years, from 2010 to 2019, and applauds a body of work that has made them the most creative companies in the world.
In the last ten years, Dentsu has garnered 127 Lions in a wide range of categories, including Design Lions, Media Lions, Creative Data Lions and Titanium Lions. As a result, Dentsu has been recognised as the most creative agency in Asia for 10 years.
The report mentions that 'the work of Dentsu is a showcase of exceptional creative talent with an impressive trophy count of 127 Lions including: 60 Bronze, 40 Silver, 24 Gold, a Titanium Lion and two Grands Prix Lions'.
Yuya Furukawa, chief creative officer, Dentsu Inc., says: "We are greatly honoured to receive this award and, needless to say, we are ten times as happy as receiving a Cannes Lions ‘Agency of the Year’ award.
