Dermatologist-Led Brand Differin Gets Real with the Realist Generation Ever on TikTok

TikTok has put a spotlight on Millennial women’s candid humor and appreciation for realness. It’s also become a huge hub for skincare education and tips. Deutsch NY decided to get real with the realest generation and put a Differin spin on popular platform trends and tropes, creating work that felt more like native content than ads.

Highlighting the Differin Gel Defense products, the work launching this week will play on popular TikTok trends like trends including #RentFree, This or That, and Telling Off, all with a zit-twist. The snackable content takes on the protagonist, A.K.A., acne, with fresh banter and a remedy for anyone on the journey to achieving skin clarity.

To further increase cultural relevance, we worked with agency Lippe Taylor to find the perfect influencers in select pieces of content.
