Doner Welcomes Tito Melega as New Global Chief Creative Officer

Today, full-service advertising agency Doner announces Tito Melega as its next global chief creative officer. In this role, Tito will oversee creative across all Doner offices. He will report directly to CEO David DeMuth.

“With Tito, our agency now has a creative leader with the talent, skills and sensibilities for where the industry is going and for what clients want most today,” said DeMuth. “Modern creative thinkers are focused on solving broader business problems and using the tools of modern marketing, and that’s what Tito brings to Doner, along with generosity, kindness and a caring spirit.”

Originally from Argentina, Tito is a born collaborator who has overseen some of the most innovative and awarded advertising and brand experience projects today, leading and mentoring cross-functional teams across North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC. From global brand platforms to a hit TV series, to six-second Vine videos, Tito leads diverse creative teams with a compelling mix of conviction and humility. Tito has worked with brands including Nissan, Ford, Toyota, Sony, ESPN, Amazon, Lexus, Infiniti, Holiday Inn, Miller Lite, Pepsi, United Airlines, and Cisco Systems, among others. Previously, Tito served as global chief creative officer at GTB, (the WPP Global Ford Agency), as well as creative director at TBWA/CHIAT/DAY, BBDO and Fallon.

Past successes include the iconic and long-running Heisman House for Nissan in partnership with ESPN. He also was the force behind Nissan’s GT Academy, turning Gran Turismo video game players into track racers for Nissan, and even took the checkered flag at the Dubai 24 Hours. At the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, Tito founded the creative collective Hustle, which connects talent with opportunity. He also sits on the board of non-profit organisation Rising United, which inspires young girls to feel confident, empowered, and courageous enough to achieve their dreams.

“As a long time fan of Doner, I am both excited and humbled to join an agency with so much rich creative history, great talent and a diverse client roster that includes so many famous and innovative brands,” said Tito. “I approach my work and my life through a personal tagline to always ‘Care the Most.’ At Doner I will partner with our creative teams, putting great care into our work, while we grow our people, our agency, and in turn, our client’s businesses.”

Tito begins in his new role immediately.
