Gamers Realise Their 'Inner Savage' in EP+Co's Social Campaign for Lenovo
EP+Co is working with Lenovo to tap into gamers’ inner 'savage' with the launch of its 'Bring out the Savage' social campaign.
The new videos were created to go right to the heart of what makes millions of gamers tick, brought to life outside the screen. Developed to promote the Lenovo Legion gaming system, and tapping into the brand’s 'stylish on the outside, savage on the inside' campaign tag, each video details a unique look inside three real gamers’ 'Inner Savage'.
Partnering with special effects studio team, Blue Whale, the campaign brings out the pure and potent essence of how gamers feel on the inside. The campaign culminates in an emotional long-form video where gamers learn that when you meet your inner savage, you meet the best part of yourself.
Launching December 1st through to December 30th, the campaign features four social videos, including one long-form version, as well as a variety of targeted social content. Developed and created 100% in-house at EP+Co – from concept to filing and production – each gamer was put through several personal interview sessions with the make-up artists to ensure each unique personality was reflected in the videos. Make-up and shooting was tweaked along the way to align with how the gamers’ emotions changed throughout filming.
