Get Store Service at Home with Currys PC World's Live Video Shopping Service
Currys PC World, the UK’s largest electrical retailer, has unveiled a new TVC, to promote its ShopLive video call service, providing customers with expert advice to help them get the products they need safely from their sofas.
The service, which launched in June 2020, connects customers to a video chat with one of its tech experts, helping customers choose the best tech option for them. The new 30-second TV spot highlights how easy it is for customers to use this pioneering shopping tool, and showcases how personable the service is, using specialist and experienced employees of Currys PC World helping customers looking for expert tech advice, rather than actors.
The TVC airs this Thursday on Channel 4 (during The Circle) and Channel 5 (Neighbours and This Week on the Farm), followed by placements on ITV during Midsomer Murders on 28th March. It is also running on Video on demand (Catch-up TV and online video platforms) and YouTube, reaching both light and media TV viewers on Wednesday 24th March.
The ShopLive service now boasts over 800 ‘tech-perts’, aiding customers through their essential tech purchases. Each new expert goes through two days of specialist training to ensure they can help customers with every tech query. Although stores are currently closed, the Currys PC World website remains open so that everyone can continue to enjoy amazing technology.
