Hennessy Celebrates the Power of Embracing New Perspectives in Ad from Droga5

One-take spot invites people to a shared mindset brought to life with one ever-expansive table

Hennessy Celebrates the Power of Embracing New Perspectives in Ad from Droga5

In collaboration with Droga5, Hennessy is introducing a new brand platform for Hennessy V.S.O.P - More Is Made By The Many. To debut this platform, the brand is launching a 30-second film, 'Take a Seat', that invites people to a shared mindset brought to life with one ever-expansive table, made up of many unique tables.

In a seamless, one-take camera move, we travel through this table to unlock a borderless world, showcasing the magic that comes when people from different walks of life gather around Hennessy V.S.O.P to share, converse and ultimately be made better by one another. The film was directed by Sportscar.

Where Hennessy V.S is for those on the rise, Hennessy V.S.O.P is for those who have already risen. There’s an inherent maturity built into who these drinkers are. It’s for those who have lived long enough to know they don’t know it all, and are uniquely able to recognize the power of somebody else’s story to expand their own. It’s this spirit that inspired our platform: More is Made By the Many- an idea that celebrates the expansion of self through the continued pursuit of perspectives, and encourages our audience to invite new ideas, beliefs and stories to their table.

From the art of Ikebana flower arranging to Vogue dancing, this new film begins to introduce our audience to the endless opportunities you have to grow when you open a bottle of Hennessy V.S.O.P, and, quite simply, take a seat.
