But these minor items are a huge deal for people with disadvantages – those who want and need to stay fresh and clean, but can't see, hold, grip or use the regular products.



Heineken - 'Shutter Ads'

Pubs have been one of the most affected during the lockdown, but Heineken found a marvellous way to support bars even when they were forced to close down. With 'Shutter Ads', they turned closed bars into a new media outlet, helping them cope through the crisis.

I love when the advertising industry breaks prototypes showing a new dream, a new hero: a human fairy. My daughter is three years old, and when she saw 'New Fairies' for the first time, she asked to play it at least ten times more. I relished seeing her enjoying and admiring this young heroine.

Truth is uncomfortable. 'Let Her Run' forces us to put in the shoes of all those athletes who went through that moment. It's impossible to see it and not feel anything or not start to question things.

Most of the time, the answer is in front of our eyes. This was the case with 'Manta Madre', an excellent example of a solution without changing habits. It changes the youngest generation's future with simple detail.



Entries to The Immortal Awards are now open and Little Black Book members can make their submissions here today. 

Entries into The Immortal Awards will be accepted until 10th September 2021. There will be no deadline extension. All entries must be made for a commissioning client, and must have first aired, broadcast, displayed, launched or published between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021.  

Every member of LBB is entitled to up to five entries, depending on their membership tier. This year, Bronze members receive one entry, Silver members will receive two entries and Gold members will receive five entries. The full list of rules, including eligibility dates, can be found here.
