Marianna Phung Joins FRANK Content for North American Representation

FRANK Content has announced the signing of Marianna Phung for North American representation. Marianna is a Toronto-based director, writer and actress of Vietnamese descent. She strives to tell bold and original stories that give the underrepresented and marginalised a voice. She uses her voice to tell unapologetically honest stories, thought-provoking, with a healthy serving of humour.

She makes a conscious effort to establish inclusive sets - in front of the camera and behind. Marianna is an emerging artist whose mission is to break boundaries and challenge the status quo while telling stories that entertain and enlighten audiences.

She competed in Toronto's 48hour Film Challenge and out of 90+ teams, Marianna won Best Director for her film 'May Flowers' which has now been screened in numerous countries and dozens of festivals around the world.

To date, her awards include; Best International Short and a nomination for Best Director at the Houston Comedy Film Festival, Audience Choice Award at Toronto Youth Shorts Film Festival, Best Narrative Short at Creations International Film Festival, and Best Foreign Experimental Short at Jelly Fest in LA.
