Music Video for Singer RAYE Evokes the Glamour of a 1960s Starlet

Partizan director Sophia Ray shoots 'Call On Me' promo

Music Video for Singer RAYE Evokes the Glamour of a 1960s Starlet

Sophia Ray has directed the new music video for music artist RAYE’s latest single, ahead of the release of her debut album. The promo is inspired by the films of John Walters and glitzy musical numbers from old Hollywood.

RAYE evokes the glamour of a 1960s starlet with big hair, vintage styling and plenty of feathers.

RAYE’s excitement and energy is palpable throughout, and the choreography is nothing but joyful. The over-the-top elements of the promo add a cartoon-like aesthetic, aided by the colourful stage and exaggerated movements of RAYE and her dancers.
