Playful Digital Ads Illustrate Connection Between Shipt Shoppers and Customers
In an effort to reach a wider audience while also connecting with current customers, grocery delivery platform Shipt and Huge Oakland created eight new ads that highlight how Shipt provides “delivery done differently” through its 200,000 shoppers.
The campaign, called ‘Delivery Done Differently’ consists of eight digital ads - four 15-second and four 6-second, and a Snapchat lens.
The films highlight Shipt Shoppers and illustrate the brand’s mission to spark connections that show why every person counts.
The campaign includes a playful extension via a Snapchat lens. Stemming from a spot that highlights an paper mache volcano (and the need for the shopper to pick up more paper towels to clean up the mess), users are encouraged to become an erupting volcano. Each ad is a cheeky look inside the world of a Shipt Shopper who is doing things differently than other shoppers - including getting the exact ripeness of banana requested and helping select items for a birthday celebration - providing peace of mind when people need it most. All content was shot using a hybrid production model of in-person shooting in Montreal with virtual direction and production in Oakland and Toronto.
The digital campaign will run across social media, YouTube, Snapchat, Spotify, Pandora, Hulu, podcasts, Pinterest, Roku, native and digital display from September 15th.
