Thomas James Takes Inspiration from Martin Scorsese for Bloody Lucy Blue Music Video

Thomas James is at his very best and very darkest with his latest music video for Lucy Blue’s ‘Taxi Driver’. The type of richly observed, character-driven narrative that’s in his blood, and things do get bloody.

Drawing in-part from Scorsese’s masterpiece of the same name, Thomas’s visual world evokes a gritty reality, bathed in red crimson light that seeps into the night sky. He presents us with a dark, cinematic portrayal of a twisted killer, deftly played by Lucy Blue herself, and her obsession with an unknown male. Stalking and observing him, eventually responding to his rejection with brutal violence.

As an award-winning director, writer and artist, Thomas has honed his exceptional craft in music videos and has successfully transferred this into commercials, recently shooting his first campaign for ride-hailing app Bolt.

Thomas is represented by OB Management for commercials, content and music videos.
