Whalar Names Victoria Bachan Managing Director Whalar Stars
Leading influencer marketing agency Whalar today announced it has named Victoria Bachan as managing director, Whalar Stars, its global digital talent management division.
Victoria, longtime manager for some of the internet’s brightest stars including Shorty Award winner Doug the Pug, who has amassed over 19 million fans, content creator Michelle Khare, now the host of HBO Max’s ‘KARMA’, and visual artist and best-selling author Adam J. Kurtz, will lead the expansion of Whalar’s full-service management solutions, including traditional, digital and ecommerce extensions for creators’ brands. She will continue to work with her roster of talent as part of Whalar, and be based in New York.
Victoria joins during a time of rapid growth for Whalar, which has seen double-digit growth for the last three years. Working alongside Whalar’s brand marketing division, its talent management division Whalar Stars exclusively represents more than 50 digital creators globally, including The Wilking Sisters, James Henry, Natalia Seth, Caleb Natale, Devan Anderson (@devanondeck)and Ramzy Masri. Whalar Stars has brokered partnerships with brands including Adobe, Disney, Nike, Unilever, and Sephora.
Having started her career in music and live entertainment, Victoria was most recently Talent Manager for Digital and Crossover Talent at Authentic Talent & Literary Management, where she represented leaders in the digital space, reaching millions of fans with unique and creative content and forging strong brand and platform partnerships. She has also held roles with CAA, Sony Music Entertainment, and Manor & Company, which she founded in 2015. Throughout her career she has managed deals with notable brands including Planet Fitness, Chevy, Dominos, Nike, and Google, and facilitated global merchandising and licensing deals for her clients.

Victoria is the latest in a string of notable hires for the agency. In February, Target head of influencer marketing Karyn Spencer joined as SVP, Partnerships, followed by Lindsay Fultz, who joined the agency in August as SVP, Brand Partnerships.
