White Square Announces Entries Open for Branding Contest Guide

One of the largest creative festivals in Europe - White Square international advertising festival that is scheduled on June 9th-11th invites representatives of communication and design industry evaluate the recent year from the point of creativity and submit the entries into BRANDING contest.

Branding and communication design contest holds a special place at White Square advertising festival, and this is not surprising. The name of the festival contains one of the favourite symbols of designers all over the world, this is a Square. White symbolises superiority and the brightness of the idea in art, at the same time mentally transmits us to Belarus, the motherland of the Festival and well-known avant-gardists, including Kazimir Malevich.

Annual contest entries at White Square festival are evaluated by international jury consisting of designers, creative and art directors both from networks and local agencies whose advertising projects have repeatedly sounded around the world and received most prestigious international awards at creative, advertising and design festivals.

The jury line-ups are in development and will be announced in late February. In recent years Branding jury consisted of such persons as Vicky Gitto, president Art Directors Club of Italy, Riccardo Rachello, Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, Tristan Macherel, Landor Associates, France, Yuri Uenishi, Dentsu, Japan, Vladislav Derevyannih, Voskhod, Russia, Alexey Fadeev, Depot, Russia, and others.

  1. REGISTER ON THE WEBSITE.  Already registered? Log in in to your account
  2. PRESS “SUBMIT ENTRY” BUTTON.
  3. CHOOSE CONTEST NOMINATION

4. FILL THE ENTRY. 

Choose a sub-nomination, and provide information about project and upload materials (video, image, PDF). Only fields in English are requested. Materials should be in English or contain English subtitles. Materials should not contain mention of agency, self-promo is exception. Enable 'Display on the website' option to show your entry on 'Entries' page. Enable 'Draft' option to be able to edit entry later. Press 'Done' to upload entry to the website.

In case your entry complies with other categories you could enter it to additional nominations for others jury line-ups consideration. That will increase your odds of winning.

5. WAIT FOR MODERATION AND PROCEED TO PAYMENT.

During moderation we check entry to meet requirements of the festival. It can take up to 3 working days. During and after moderation entry can not be edited. 

Payment can be done via bank transfer or Visa and Mastercard. To pay with bank transfer do not forget to provide information about company in 'Personal info – Change company info' section. After sending request for payment we’ll provide you documents and invoice. You can also pay by card on the website on your own. If you haven’t got your payment information within several days or want more information – contact us at info@adfest.by. Participation fees are provided on 'Fees' page.

DONE! After moderation and payment are done – prepare to celebrate the results of international jury judging. There are six jury categories at White Square consisting of persons with worldwide recognition in advertising and tones of prestigious industrial awards. 

Winners, prize-winners and finalists of the festival get broad promotion with more than 30 publications in industrial media in Europe and the CIS counties, including Argentina, Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Croatia, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, the MENA region, Serbia, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, and others.

We don’t know who will win, but what we know for sure is that in order to be among the winners, first you should submit the entries and IT’S TIME!
