Wiener's Circle's Sassy Staff Offer a Side of Socially Distant Abuse with Curbside Pickups

Wiener’s Circle, Chicago’s famed hot dog joint known not only for char dogs and cheese fries, but also for vulgar late-night insults from its sassy staff, has found a new way to bring customers its 'unique' experience - with Facetime Ordering & Curbside Abuse. 

In a new irreverent commercial (it’s first ever), released on their social channels Monday, they demonstrate how you can now order virtually face-to-face with its foul-mouthed staff by Facetiming the number 773-BITCHES. Or add ‘Curbside Abuse’ to your order on Tock, Grubhub or UberEats for a free profanity-laced earlashing of your choice when you pick up your order.    

“Shit’s so fuckin’ weird in the world right now, and people seem to miss the everyday normal shit they used to do. Like yelling at us to get a fuckin’ hot dog. And I miss yelling at their motherfuckin' ugly-ass faces too,” says long-time employee Poochie Jackson.

“People just want something to smile about. And apparently hearing us call them yuppy-ass bitches makes ‘em smile. Even though you can’t see their fuckin’ mouths behind their masks,” said manager Evelyn Morris.

The commercial plays off the cliches and tropes of many of the coronavirus-era commercials that viewers have seen over and over again, and then turns them on their head in trademark Wiener Circle fashion.

But they also want all the vulgarity to go towards a good cause. They had originally intended to match all sales with a donation to the Chicago Community Covid-19 Response Fund. But given the events following the death of George Floyd, their history of commentary on social issues, and how they’re proudly owned and operated by a melting pot of colours and creeds, they want to support the black community by also contributing to the Chicago Black-Owned Restaurant Relief Fund.
