William Wu Joins MRM//McCann as Head of Data and Analytics

MRM//McCann China today announced the appointment of William Wu as Head of Data & Analytics. The new role will provide deeper integration of data and creativity, providing better, more effective communications for MRM’s clients. MRM//McCann helps brands grow meaningful relationships with people, and data is core to delivering this.

William joins MRM//McCann from previous roles at both agencies and performance marketing companies, including Miaozhen, Wunderman and Proximity. He has a varied and rich expertise in data analytics, modeling, CRM, data management platforms, commerce and social listening, combined with a wide variety of industry experience including automobile, healthcare, luxury and beauty categories.

“William is one of the best integrated data minds in China,” said Bryce Whitwam, CEO, MRM//McCann China. “But his real skill is his unique ability to provide productive recommendations to clients that help drive their performance. This will be enormously impactful.”

MRM//McCann China is recognized in the market for its strong creative heritage and data-led innovation. This year, the agency picked up Gold and Silver awards at both the APAC Effies and Greater China Effies. The agency was recently awarded the top prize, the Grand Prix, at the ROI awards that took place in Shanghai earlier this month. MRM//McCann is also a consistent winner in Campaign Asia’s Digital Agency of the Year awards.
