Before you read on, I'm a creative director who truly believes that 'digital' and 'ATL' creative titles should be banned, I believe in great creative ideas, backed by a strategic insight, if you don't believe in this, then don't bother reading on :) Born on the right side of London (East, yes, another bloody Pom) Discipline -Great ideas which is build around innovation and the needs of clients not flaky ad folk, an Art Director by trade that started at Bates Dorland London. Moved to Grey Worldwide London after 4 years to take charge of GSK and in that time was one of the first people to push a big FMCG brand in Ribena to consider online advertising. My passion grew and so did my roll call. Had various stints at Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe Y&R, Saatchi's, JWT, DDB and O&M Paris. Moved into the digital arena in 2000 working at AKQA, Grand Union, and was then made Head of Advertising in 2005 at Ai London. Clients range from FMCG to cars from Yell.com, National Express, Telewest/NTL, Lee Jeans, Virgin, Mercury Records, VW, and GSK. In 2006 was headhunted from London to Australia and was made Creative Director of Bullseye in that time I grew Bullseye from 15 to 80 people and won 15 major pieces of business, won countless awards for Blackmores, Hitachi, and Morphy Richards and all in the space of 3 year's, clever git. (Client references on demand). Working primarily on Westpac, Blackmores,MeadowLea,Roche,Coke, Masterfoods, and Tourism NSW. Business won: tourism NSW, Brisbane city council, British Colombia, Westpac, APT tours, Telstra bigpond kids, Hitachi, George Weston Foods, Masterfoods, Coke, Zoos Victoria, Goodman Fielder, Roche,Ciba Vison, Morphy Richards. (I have full client references) More recently I have been at Zuni, a start-up that I was involved with, In 9 months I have implemented a new creative process and delivery around creativity and innovation, while putting the structure in place I also won 3 new shiny clients; UNSW Australian School of Business, AIM, Australian Institute of Management, and Fuji Xerox. Love road running and swimming -Marathon’s current best time: 2:48 Paris. World Masters Silver medalist in the 2k sand run and in 2010 won gold in the 2k beach run at the NSW and National State Surf Life Saving Championships. Also a life guard at North Steyne Surf Life Saving Club. I like coffee and dumplings. I also like positive people who get things done, bit like me really.
