David Grant has nearly 20 years post production experience and managed the telecine department at a large facility in Cape Town. One of the most experienced colourists in the country, David’s worked in Cape Town, Johannesburg, India, Malaysia and Singapore. He’s experienced in many telecines and has been grading on the Spirit for over eight years. David, who holds a BA in Dramatic Arts from The University of Witwatersrand, has now made the leap to disc-based grading on Baselight. He colour graded Prakesh Varma’s Incredible India, as well as Terence Neale’s Nedbank Fish and Kim Geldenhuys’ Old Mutual Nature of Wisdom, which won a craft certificate and craft Gold respectively for cinematography at The Loerie Awards in 2010.
